Today’s kit combines a beautiful birds eye maple veneer, deep golden amber stain, and a 1/2″ Paua Abalone inlay all buried under a high gloss lacquer. The sizes include 10″x7″ and 12″x7″ rack toms, a 14″x12″ floor tom, and 20″X14″ bass drum. Custom touches include DW brackets, a double tom holder mounted on the bass drum, and die cast hoops. Big is beautiful! Todays kit features a 13″x12″ rack tom, 16″x14″ and 18″x16″ floor toms, and a 26″x14″ bass. All Phattie 100% maple specs with black hardware and a high gloss lacquered paint job. Aside from being silky smooth with a mirror like reflection this finish is also entirely water based. Less solvents and pollution go into the air, and the final finish buffs out to an amazing shine. This recently finished Black Label kit is beautiful work of art, both in tone and visual appeal. The all-maple shells are veneered in Birds Eye Maple with a 1/4″ abalone shell inlay. Over the veneer and abalone a golden-amber toner was applied, than many coats of beautiful clear, buffed and polished to a silky smooth mirror shine. The sizes are 12″x8″, 14″x14″, and 20″x16″, with special order DW mounts on the 12″ and 14″, and heavy duty spurs on the bass. The photos tell the story on this one, check it out:
